Perfect location . . .

I am a super fan!! Perfect location, around the corner from the Max light rail, directly across the street from waterfront park (beautiful sunrise!) and steps away from tax free shopping! The rooms were great, clean and modern. The bed ........ incredible!! Too many exclamation points? I'm not done. The staff was phenominal! Front desk, bistro (delicious Bfast) The valet guys were alway's cheerful wether we were coming or going they were there, offering us directions and giving us local hot spots to check out (thanks for the wine advise Rick!) All went very well, we will be back very soon.

wow! the only thing not to like about this place is the fact that it is attached to a hotel. While visiting some friends in portland, I stayed at hotel fifty. Being very cautious of hotel food, i started with breakfast. THE best french toast i have ever had. Although my group and i did not eat there the first night (what a mistake), we did end up eating dinner there the seccond. I didnt know anyone offerd free valet parking, that was a hugh suprise for my friends. It all went up hill from there. imaginitive and well prepared food, great service and i can say wnough about the feel of the room. If you live in the portland area this is a must!!

We have stayed twice now at Hotel 50 and have really enjoyed our stay both times. We get great promotional offers via email, often influencing our choice to stay there, and are always satisfied with our visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is warm and comfortable, and the location makes it very convenient to enjoy downtown and the surrounding areas without having to be dependent on your car.

The staff at this hotel is the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Service in the restaurant was wonderful and our meal was delicious. Location is convenient and the river view from our room was incredible. Comfortable bed, flat screen tv, and reliable free wi-fi make up for the smallness of the room. The parking fee is a "little over the top", so we did valet because the difference in the self parking was minimal. All in all a good value and great experience.

We were supposed to stay at Hotel Fifty for only one night, but after seeing how great it was, we decided to stay an extra night, as well. It's a wonderful hotel in a good location, and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We had a balcony room, which was decent sized and had a pretty good view. The bathroom was clean, and the showers were very nice. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and all of the room's features were top notch. I'll definitely be staying at Hotel Fifty the next time I travel to Portland. The service was great--everything from the front desk and room service to the awesome valet guys who were very friendly and helpful. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked it to be, but I definitely believe that it was worth every penny. Great experience all around.

We stayed at the Hotel Fifty for 9 days and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is located in an ideal place downtown where you can walk across any of the bridges to the East side, run along the esplanade by the Willamette, or meander west through downtown. The amenities are almost all free including Bally's gym, wifi, and cable TV (if you decide to watch TV in beautiful Portland). One other thing is worth mentioning; the hotel staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it without question to anyone who desires an excellent hotel at a reasonable cost.

This hotel was so great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and awesome. They recommended local restaurants, helped us get to our next destination, and were very cool. The rooms were pristine, clean, and classy. Loved every minute of it. Great location too. Lots to see and do there. It's a must visit!

Location and service plus an excellent value, make the hotel a great place to stay. Parking is convenient plus the ability to walk on the river, shop in town, and easy escape to anywhere in the city without hassle. Breakfast is a real treat, beautifully served and done just right, plus the great coffee. The rooms are set up well, a bit tight but good use able space, plus quiet which is a must. The wireless internet and the cleaver plug for all the chargers make it perfect to work or play.

Great location, waterfront park, close to everything (retail, food, night life, parks, etc.) Rooms weren't very large but we're nicely decorated, very comfortable beds, nice 42" flat screens, great showers. Bar and restaurant was great and very reasonably priced. Ate breakfast there almost every morning and dinner a couple times. The dinner style is "small plates" or "tapas" which is great and the food is fantastic, chef Nick is great. I would stay in this hotel when returning to Portland in a heartbeat.

The hotel staff are competent and friendly. They made us feel like we were at home and welcome at the site. The front desk, bellboys, parking assistants and manager plus bar, breakfast and room service personnel were outstanding. We have been staying at this hotel, premium location, over the last 11/12 years even though it has changed hands several times. The new remodeling is light and airy, a job well done. WE WILL RETURN and advise all others of the outstanding location and service.
