H5O BISTRO & BAR HOSTED MAY COOKING FOR KIDS FUNDRAISER

PORTLAND, Ore. – H5O bistro & bar hosted the “Cooking for Kids” fundraising dinner, a culinary event benefiting Morrison Child and Family Services, on Thursday, May 20, 2010.
Executive Chef Nick Yanes demonstrated several cooking techniques for the guests as he prepared the multi-course “Latin in Love” themed dinner. Each dish was paired with wine selections from Penner-Ash Wine Cellars of Newberg, Ore.
“It was a pleasure to host this event and help raise money for an important organization that contributes to the success of our community,” said Yanes.
The event at H5O bistro & bar was one of more than 30 “Cooking for Kids” fundraiser dinners being held at Oregon’s finest restaurants. All proceeds from the event benefited Morrison Child and Family Services, an organization dedicated to providing mental health and child welfare services for Oregon children and their families.
