HOTEL FIFTY DONATES $500 TO
THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION® OF OREGON
A.) Nov. 20, 2009 – Prune Hill Elementary school students making ornaments for Hotel Fifty’s holiday tree.
B.) Nov. 25, 2009 – Hotel Fifty’s holiday tree displaying ornaments made by students at The Goddard School and Prune Hill Elementary, both in Camas, Wash.
C.) Jan. 14, 2010 – Terry Hanley, general manger of Hotel Fifty, presenting a check for $500 to a Carynne Drake from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Hotel Fifty, a premier boutique hotel located in downtown Portland, made a $500 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010.
The money came from the sale of ornaments made by students from The Goddard School and Prune Hill Elementary, both in Camas, Wash., which were displayed on the hotel’s holiday tree in November and December. Donors received an ornament for each $5 donation to the Foundation.
“This was a great opportunity to bring the community together for a great cause,” said Terry Hanley, general manager of Hotel Fifty. “We’re very grateful for the generosity of our guests and associates who participated in raising money.”
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
