One summer weekend each year the Pacific Northwest Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Trans (LGBT) community gets together in Portland, OR to recognize the diversity and strength of its community and celebrate itself in an encouraging atmosphere. Last year more than 30,000 people attended the Portland Pride Festival. The event draws people from all over Oregon and southwest Washington.*
