Spring Beer & Wine Festival
Downtown Portland Events

On Friday and Saturday, March 29 and 30, 2013 lovers of beer and wine would be well advised to make time to attend the 19th Annual Spring Beer & Wine Fest at the Oregon Convention Center. There they can:
- Mingle with artisan brewers, vintners, distillers & cheese makers
- Nibble on tasty gourmet delights
- Get schooled at the Chefs’ Stage – and eat your homework
- Groove to tunes from hot NW bands
While sipping on fine craft beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, attendees can also do a little shopping! Arts and craft vendors and exhibitors will offer unique treasures and interesting items. There’s even an attached heated outdoor smoker’s tent for well, you know, smokers.
And here’s an awesome tidbit: admission is free the first two hours each day.
The Spring Beer & Wine Fest is a festive combination of education and fun… maybe or maybe not in that order!
Ps. The Spring Beer & Wine Fest is located in Downtown Portland, a mere stone’s throw from Hotel Fifty. Leave your car home and travel worry-free to the doors of the Oregon Convention Center on one of the many TRI-Met busses or MAX light rail cars serving the Rose Quarter Transit Center. Call TRI-MET for their schedule and information at 503-238-7433.
Fact is, overnight accommodations at Hotel Fifty might be a really prudent (and fun) choice.
